Matteo Francescon, MSc, UKCP Accredited Psychotherapist and Counsellor
I am a psychotherapist currently working at the University of Bristol Student Counselling Service.
At the moment I'm not seeing clients privately.
I was born in Torino, Italy where I started my studies in History. I was fascinated by the ancient world and studied Ancient and Medieval History, Latin and Philosophy. I also completed a year abroad at the University of Burgundy in Dijon, France. After my studies, I started to work for youth organisations promoting inclusion for disadvantaged children and young people. This brought me to work in Luxembourg for a while.
When I moved to the UK, I started my training to become a counsellor first, and then a psychotherapist. In London and Bristol I worked for different organizations, mainly with children and young people. In the last few years I've been working at the University of Bristol where I support the students with their wellbeing. I'm also interested in research, yoga and gardening.
